THREE TREASURES A LA CARTE CLASSES
We offer these individual classes independently of our Youth Mentorship Program classes. They are meant for kids who are not in our program but would like to still experience our teaching and classes. Typically, these are faster paced classes because everyone enrolled should want to be there. Each class is roughly one hour which is not a lot of time after the bathroom break and taking attendance.
Each class will have a lesson of the day (or week), then review of last week's lesson, then back to today's lesson. Classes are divided between application and theory training and further divided by age and ability level.
Expectations of students:
1. Students must want to be in the class they're signing up for
2. Students must be able to follow directions and pay attention when needed
3. Show up on time and be ready to train
4.No verbal or physical bullying
5. Continue to do things the Three Treasures way (mindfulness, compassion, and respect)
Expectations of parents:
1. Pay on time
2. Be our ally and not fight us if we tell you your child is misbehaving. Help us find a solution rather than be in denial.
3. You're welcome to watch the class but let your kid be a kid and learn without interference
Expectations of Three Treasures:
1. Teach with the same vigor and enthusiasm as our Youth Mentorship Program
2. Provide a safe and nurturing environment
3. Always communicate clearly and professionally

ABOUT BARNARD A LA CARTE CLASSES:
Hi Barnard famililes, we are happy to offer a few a la carte classes this Fall. With the remodeling and constructing going on, it is difficult to add more classes given our limited amount of space, but we brought back our most popular classes taught by our most popular staff. We have already begun planning for what other classes we can add after this 10 week session is over. The other two sessions this year will both be 11 weeks long.
