Our Vision

“ To benefit society with future leaders who have been trained and brought up with traditional Kung Fu values of Martial Virtue.”
Picture
We are based off of how a traditional Kung Fu school was run in the old days. Not only was it a place to learn martial arts but gave back to its community in a variety of ways.
It was a symbol of strength and high morality.

For centuries, Kung Fu has been one of man’s greatest tools for self-development, cultivation and empowerment.  Learning to listen, feel and see internally and externally helps you learn to handle pressure and stay focused.

Sifu Frank Du’s vision is to serve the community beyond just his own Kung Fu students. For this reason, he chose the name Three Treasures Cultural Arts Society rather than calling us Three Treasures Kung Fu or naming it after himself. It is important to him that people can see & feel the difference in training and tone of the organization - and we invite you to share in the experience!

Philosophy

In Kung Fu, we always train the student from the “inside out.” That is, we begin with the root (how you think and feel about yourself) and from there much can grow. The fundamental focus of all our programs is to build up how you feel about yourself and improve your awareness of your thoughts; actions; and environment. To improve our chances of being successful in life we need to be logical, practical and in balance with our feelings. These can only be achieved if you are in the environment that encourages this type of empowerment. Three Treasures is that place. What you need is already inside you and with a little help you can unlock your immense human potential.

Our training revolves around the three treasures of mind, body and spirit. For the mind, we show you techniques that can create small shifts in your thinking that bring about positive change. For body, our Kung Fu program preserves the training that made Kung Fu famous for self-defense and fitness. Your results and gains will be your own and the changes you feel on the inside will outweigh the changes on the outside. Finally, for spirit, we teach you how to meditate and ground your chakras. All three treasures provide a well-rounded and fulfilled self.

"In 2009, we had a vision of creating a strong community based on good deeds, good thoughts, and good words. Those are our "three treasures" not just mind, body, and spirit. Pursuing a better quality of life on all levels has always been our goal for our students and staff and we are proud that we have not strayed from this path. We would not be where we are without the love and support of our loyal members, students, and wonderful staff. As a martial arts organization, we believe in showing respect to our elders and teachers. We are also grateful for those who might not have seen things eye to eye with us and that's OK. Blessings and lessons come in many forms and we have certainly learned a lot. Everyone has their own karmic debt to fulfill and spiritual contracts to live out. I'm very blessed to be in this path"

- Frank Du
