It would be misleading to the families in our program who are attracted to our Kung Fu values if any of our staff are not strong role models for youths.
Three Treasures is the "little train that could" and we have accomplished a lot in a short amount of time but our job is far from done. We welcome the value you can bring to not only our after school program (Youth Mentorship) but also our organization in general. Below is a list of areas you can help us in. They range from corporate positions to in-class instruction. Please review which one is best for you. Position to be filled by January 1st, 2016
Full Time exempt includes benefits
Salary: $3,500 a month
We reserve the right to amend or eliminate this position at any time to fit our current organizational goals and budget.
Description: Under the supervision of our Associate Executive Director, the Youth Mentorship Program (YMP) Director will oversee our most successful department. The YMP has garnered much respect for its ability to weave family values into all of our academic and cultural programs. It has changed how parents view after school enrichment. The YMP Director is charged with growing this department while maintaining the quality and upholding our organizational values. Duties include maximizing enrolling at each site; curriculum development; staff training and development; working within a given budget; and working in tandem with the Assistant Program Coordinators on site events and marketing. Additional programs under your jurisdiction include all a la carte classes, the Music department, camps, and eventually sports. You will schedule weekly meetings with your staff to follow up on past goals and to set new ones. You will also meet with our Executive Director on a weekly basis to access your development. You will also be a part of our "welcoming team" where we meet and greet parents and help address concerns and questions.
Ideal Candidate: As our ideal candidate, your experience as an educator will give us great insight from that perspective. Your ability to develop and arrange our curriculum to better serve our students and fulfill our cultural niche is key in maintaining our importance to each school site. Your dynamic personality and ability to communicate well whether it be in writing or speaking will cut down on the learning curve of your staff and minimize any miscommunication between Three Treasures and the parents of our students, and school site faculty.

Sports and Recreation Director
Position to be filled by: February 1st, 2016
Salary: $2,500 a month to start;
We reserve the right to amend or eliminate this position at any time to fit our current organizational goals and budget.
Description: Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director, you are charged with launching this pilot program from the ground up. This department is key in growing our presence in the community and offers another wonderful option for families who may not have the means to afford our Youth Mentorship Program but would still like to be a part of Three Treasures. Hence, our kids league will be called "Three Treasures High-Five League." In addition to youth sports, you will also start an adult recreational basketball, flag football, and badminton league as well as create an annual tournament for each. As we grow your department, your duties will expand beyond scheduling and recruiting coaches and volunteers to include staff management, budget management, and promotions. You will also work in tandem with the Special Projects Director to promote this department throughout the communities of each of our sites. Each school site will have its own "mini-league" as well as a larger one to serve the greater community. Along with the Special Projects Director, you will both create annual family picnics and other fun events for all our families to come together to celebrate friendship.
Ideal Candidate: As our ideal candidate, you will love starting a program from scratch that has your name written all over it. Your entrepreneurial instincts will get a great workout and you will go home feeling great about the work you are doing.
