Summer Camp Is Now Closed
Hi friends, thank you for considering our summer camp! Please note that our programming will adjust to conform to COVID regulations and the county's tier level. All staff and students are required to wear masks and social distance until further notice. For new families, we require a short phone conference to make sure our program is right for you. We are not a daycare so our expectations will be higher. We do not baby the children; bullying is not allowed; and we expect all kids to respect one another's opinions, religions, backgrounds, and so forth.

SCHEDULE STRUCTURE: there will be a strong mix of academics, physical, character development classes, and free play. AVID classes are "advancement via individual determination" designed to help kids prepare for the next grade level, middle school, or how to handle stress. All academic classes are 45 minutes long while physical classes are 55 minutes. Sandwiched in between are short 20 minute math, English, or extracurricular activity that are quick and fun.
Students who prioritize an activity like basketball or music will get two periods-worth while others get one. All kids get one math and one English class per day while the third academic class will be a rotation of science, Chess, social studies, art, etc.
Field trips are scheduled either 10:30 to 1pm or 12 to 2:30 depending on availability. Kids do not miss out on academics on field trip days. Students will be separated by age groups; half time or full time; and short term (1 to 4 weeks) or long term (5 to 10 weeks). Short term kids will not participate in activities that require more time like Ukulele or intermediate sports. Short term kids will receive only introductory instruction in their classes.
AFTER THE SUMMER: join our center as a member and enjoy new athletic leagues (badminton and basketball); martial arts classes; dance and music lessons; Parents Night Out child watch; and after school Youth Mentorship Program.
