Basketball
In 2019, Three Treasures will be opening up our new community center and it will revolve around the talents of our own Shawn Vassell who will help run the center. Like all our staff, Shawn is special and his ability to galvanize and energize students is an extraordinary skill that he is blessed with. Our new community center will house not only our new martial arts center but also a gymnasium, fitness facility, and performing arts center.
Kicking things off is Shawn's own basketball program at Barnard, Pacific Beach, and Sequoia Elementary Schools that will be the launching point for our new community center. Shawn brings many years of high level competitive basketball to the table. The goal of this program is two fold: to develop leaders through proper basketball development as well as creating an actual team for each school to compete with other existing teams at Three Treasures (Hage, Salk, Crown Point) and beyond.
